Laura is an experienced REALTOR® with sales in residential, land, farm and ranch, commercial and lake properties. She is co-owner of Land Company of Texas along with her husband and broker, Matt Gilmore. She manages the day to day operations of the Land Company of Texas office in Cisco, TX.

Laura grew up in a small town in Northeast Texas and was actively involved in FFA and 4-H in high school. After graduating, she worked a variety of jobs. She has been an assistant manager at Cavender's in two states. She moved to Kansas City, KS to help open and manage a new store there and was involved in marketing and advertising efforts there such as serving on the American Royal rodeo committee. She worked in accounts payable and project management for a very successful hardscape company that designs and builds masonry subdivision and retaining walls in Lewisville, TX. She was also the receptionist in an OB/GYN office in Denton, TX and has been director of a preschool in Eastland, TX! After watching her husband establish his own successful real estate career, she decided that this was the career path she wanted to pursue as well and at the beginning of 2021 she obtained her Texas real estate license.  She worked as a REALTOR® for Trinity Ranch Land for two years before she and Matt opened their own brokerage.

She is knowledgeable about current real estate market trends. She loves helping people accomplish their real estate goals and has a passion for marketing and advertising. Laura is a member of the Texas Association of REALTORS®, the National Association of REALTORS® and the Abilene Association of REALTORS®.
She feels very blessed to get to work and do life in a small town. She and Matt live in Cisco, TX where they enjoy working on their land and raising cattle and goats. One of her favorite hobbies is doing leatherwork. When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with her family, camping, hiking, gardening, and enjoying the outdoors or going to goat shows with her daughter, Audrey!
