Chris McGowan
Chris McGowan’s goal as a REALTOR® is to provide the best experience possible for his
clients through honesty, integrity, and old fashioned hard work. Chris strives to fully understand the wants
and needs of his clients whether it is buying or selling. When working with a buyer, Chris will work
tirelessly to present properties that best fit those wants and needs allowing
the customer to make an informed decision without pressure to buy. As a seller’s representative, Chris will
enthusiastically showcase your property to help you transition to your next
property as stress free as possible.
Chris has worn many hats and has experience in lawn care and
landscaping, building material sales, Jr. Dragster chassis building, utility
construction, as well as warehousing, shipping, and logistics. Most recently Chris has spent almost two
decades with the same oilfield service provider. There, Chris developed unwavering customer
support in a fast paced, high stress, demanding environment, superior attention
to detail in documentation while shipping oilfield safety tools all over the
world, further honing this eye for detail was time spent as a machine shop
inspector. In addition to these roles,
Chris spent several years as an asset manager managing oilfield rental
equipment in multiple states negotiating purchase, rental, and repair of
company owned as well as customer owned assets all while ensuring all customer
specifications and industry specifications were met.
When Chris isn’t working for his clients, you can likely
find him in the barn, on a tractor, or behind the wheel of a truck and trailer
supporting his wife and daughter’s equine habits. Chris’s wife KD and daughter Whitney both
barrel race and compete in playdays.
Chris and KD have been raising their own American Quarter Horses since
2011 with many years of equine experience prior to that. Chris’s many years of horse experience will
prove to be exponentially valuable to the equine enthusiast whether buying or
selling, be it a small hobby property, a professional training facility, or a
complete breeding operation. Chris’s
daughter, Whitney, is also involved in Wise county 4-H through shooting sports
and the 4-H dog program. When Chris and family are not hauling horses
down the highway, you can find them in the brush of Wichita County prepping for
whitetail season where the whole family hunts.
